Is that article such a surprise to you? There isn't an analyst out there, except for a few at internet banking powerhouses and wannabe's, that doesn't laugh at these market caps. And the internet insiders? They find them just as insane. Comparisons to previous manias are inadequate, however. At no point in the often mentioned biotech bubble did the market cap for the biotech leaders rival that of the bluechip drug stocks. AOL>DIS would be like AMGN (mentioned in the article) having been worth more than MRK.
