Hi Kevin, I think that it should suffice to state that LVLT, along with every other carrier that has gained the moniker of "fiber baron" is being called upon by large enterprises and specialized carriers [mostly specialized startups] for plain vanilla bandwidth, as well as IP-centric services. Business is business.

I feel that b-w, in and of itself, will be important, but it will not be their core strength. They can buy b-w relatively cheaply in volume, such as long term IRUs.

Networking technologies, OTOH, and the melding of disparate legacy platforms with an emerging IP universe through some period that will define 'the transition,' will be their core strength. All in due time, IMO.
