I believe that ATMI has a process for smart cards and is working with Siemans on it. I do not know if this covers ROS. ATMI may be a way to participate in the smart card growth as it is a fish way out in the front [ or is it rear?] of the food chain.

The infrastructure is in place for credit cards in the US but the Europeans have the advantage of relative backwardness so they can adopt smart cards and avoid the expense of setting up a telephone network. I believe that is why ATMI chose to work with a European company!

My interest in SNDK is both minimal and waning so I will look at the smart card thread and perhaps tune in here just for old times sake once in a while.

Good luck and Happy New Year

Will
