Cmon,

AMZN is indeed overvalued. But is DELL overvalued selling a commodity? Is CSCO overvalued selling at price/sale of 9 and p/E of 100? Remember, price/sale of 10 is used to be reserved for good software company.

Valuation is always on relative terms and determined by supply/demand. A stock is always traded based on growth potential. Instead of arguing whether AMZN is overvalued, we would be much better off to be long and at the same time discuss what foretelling signs are when the business of AMZN is maturing. At that time, it will be safe to short. Well, if you are really good, you can still make money to short AMZN. But it takes much less effort to make money by being long.
