Well, its been an exciting vacation. Typically my day down here consists of about 1 1/2 hours of tennis, weightlifting and then walking the marina decks with the wife. Thats all before you 10am. You do it after 10 and heat stroke is likely. Afternoons usually involve some sort of windsurfing (i'm pretty new to it and by Weds., I was able to scoot about 300 yards before flipping off the board helplesslly..i think the pro tour will have to do without me). By late afternoon, I am usually roasted and have no tolerance for the brutal sun....hence, SI time! Anyway, its been a great vacation, yet like any true lover of the markets, I'm a' itching to get back to the office! Anyway, yes, i can get preopen indications of interest on Listed stocks...you usually cant get them at 2 minutes to the open as the specialist has already matched piecesk, knows where it will open and is too busy handling orders. Yet you can often get a floor broker to check in the crowd that close to the open. If there is an imbalance, I have a system which tells me the indications of where the specialist will oepn it, yet you usually dont know right till the open.
