Omni-Net.com Names Richy Glassberg President & CEO

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999--

Highly Regarded Internet Industry Executive Given Mandate To Build Online Interactive Marketing and Ad Rep Firm From The Ground Up

Omni-Net.com, a subsidiary of Enhanced Services Company, Inc. (OTC: "ESVS") and an affiliate of Zulu-tek, Inc. (OTCBB: "ZULUD") and BrandsforLess.com, announced today that Internet industry veteran Richy Glassberg will join Omni-Net.com as its President and CEO, effective immediately.

Mr. Glassberg was senior vice president and general manager of Turner Interactive Sales, a division of Turner Broadcasting Sales Inc., where he headed up all online activities for CNN.com, CNNSI.com, CNNFN.com CartoonNetwork.com and WCW.com.

"Glassberg's appointment as president and CEO is a significant step in building an effective team of experienced professionals who will run and grow the client base of Omni-net.com and signals the online advertising industry that we are committed to creating a sizable online advertising and marketing sales rep firm," noted Robert Chmiel, chief operating officer of Enhanced Services. Chmiel added that although online the advertising industry continues to grow at record pace, the advertising and promotional service for many content sites is underdeveloped and in some cases entirely unexploited, which creates a significant opportunity for Omni-net to build an environment. "Richy is among those executives who early on saw the potential of the Internet as a major major growth medium for advertising and commerce," added Chmiel.

Mr. Glassberg will be based in the company's New York headquarters and will expand its sales offices and increase hiring of staff in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

"The industry has grown to the point that now is the perfect time for a multimedia ad rep firm like Omni-net.com to become a major player in the online world," said Mr. Glassberg. "There now exists a critical mass of talented people who have grown up in the business and know how to capitalize on the existing and future opportunities that the online medium offers. By starting this business under the Omni-net umbrella and creating an encompassing network of sites, the efficiencies exist for branding and marketing campaigns as well as for creating targeted ad buys. This is an exciting time for me to help build a company from the ground up."

Mr. Glassberg is a founding member of the Internet Advertising Bureau and serves on the IAB Board of Directors as vice chairman and treasurer. He joined Turner Broadcasting Sales in 1990 as an account executive for TBS Superstation and TBS. In 1993, he relocated to Los Angeles to manage the ad sales offices for the two networks. In 1995 he returned to New York as senior account executive for CNN and Headline News and was instrumental in the creation of Turner Interactive Sales. Prior to joining Turner, he was in ad sales for MTV Networks.

He is also a member of the FAST Forward Steering Committee; a broad-based Internet industry coalition dedicated to accelerating the development and use of digital advertising. Additionally, Mr. Glassberg serves as vice chairman of the Interactive Media Liaison Committee for ABC Interactive, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

A few notes and highlights on Richy Glassberg (beleive me, this is only the easily available findings)..........

ba.com
"This marketing approach should pay dividends for everyone," said Richard Glassberg, vice president and general manager of Turner Interactive Marketing and Sales. "CNN Interactive's users will now have an easy and direct tie to the best on-line directory available and Big Yellow's advertisers will be exposed to more than 500 million page views over the course of the year."

BigYellow Expects Boost From CNN Link internetnews.com
BigYellow, which is already a major advertiser on CNN Interactive, is paying a premium to be designated its official directory under an arrangement that will entitle it to display its hyperlinked icon next to nearly all CNN news stories.

Richard Glassberg, VP and general manager of Turner Interactive Marketing and Sales says that "Big Yellow's advertisers will be exposed to more than 500 million page views over the course of the year." BigYellow, which currently claims nearly 1 million visits per month and 15,000 advertisements, expects the arrangement to result in a substantial traffic increase. CNN Interactive, which claims to be the Web's most visited news site, receives more than 12 million visits per week.

This guy hangs with the big guys, NO DOUBT!

International Ties!

Advertising will be the main revenue driver on the Net rather than paid for services. That was the message Richy Glassberg, Senior VP, Turner Interactive had for the admen of Delhi.

Addressing the Delhi Advertising Club in the capital, Glassberg said the Internet, or more specifically the World Wide Web today presented a unique opportunity and challenge for advertisers as well as the ad agencies. Glassberg noted that the Web is the fastest growing among the media forms of print, television and Internet.

More International Ties:

"With the unmatched strength of the CNN news brand, the launch of CNNemPortugues.com offers online advertisers the ideal vehicle to reach Portuguese-speaking consumers," said Richy Glassberg, senior vice president and general manager of Turner Interactive. "The other CNN Web sites have already attracted Brazilian online advertisers, and we look forward to growing our advertiser base in this region."

Yet more on the International Scene:

Media giant CNN and incoming operator Orient Tours are among the latest top companies to lend their support to the TTG Middle East & North Africa Travel Conference '97.

Richard Glassberg, vice president of CNN Interactive in the USA, will speak on the subject of how the Internet will affect the travel industry of the future, whilst HE Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Qasimi, chairman of Orient Tours, will outline the strategy undertaken to promote the Middle East to the international market.

Not having Procter & Gamble at the top of the ad list does not perturb Internet advertising analysts.

Some point out that other companies are not waiting for P&G or other giants to validate the Web, and are pressing ahead with their own ad campaigns.

"I don't think people are waiting to see if [packaged-goods companies] are going to advertise on the Web first before they do," said Richy Glassberg, senior vice president and general manager for Turner Interactive, which publishes CNN Interactive, CNNfn, and All Politics. "They're going their own way."

In particular, Glassberg said he's seen significant upticks in ad revenue for categories like travel, cars, movies, banks, and credit cards.

Remember that meeting Proctor and Gamble held last summer? Wanna know who was working with them? Do ya?

P&G kicked off dialogue on Internet marketing last summer at "Fast Summit," a major meeting with other marketing giants, including many GMA members. A representative from Turner Interactive Services, which worked closely with P&G on the meeting, will discuss the outcome of Fast Summit, as well as the "Fast Forward" joint industry team formed to look at Internet marketing opportunities and challenges.

"Traditional marketing is undergoing a major facelift, as the Internet continues to attract more and more consumers with instant access to the products and services they need," said Richy Glassberg, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Turner Interactive Services. "The Internet is allowing us to connect and build relationships with consumers in an entirely new way, and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for marketers are staggering."

This guy must never sleep! Mention of Net Gravity in this one.
abcinteractiveaudits.com

"The CNN Web sites are committed to providing our advertisers with the highest possible level of accountability," says Richy Glassberg, senior vice president and general manager for global sales, Turner Interactive. "We are excited to be the first content provider on the Web to offer all of our advertising clients actual campaign audits that go beyond general site audits. This way, they can track what was actually bought and how many users it attracted.

"The combination of ABC Interactive's independent, third-party auditing with NetGravity's ad tracking and measurement capabilities," adds Glassberg, "gives our advertisers a more thorough picture of their marketing plan's performance on the Web."

Reporters must call Richy everytime they want an opinion.

"I think it's a phenomenal thing," said Richy Glassberg, senior VP of Turner interactive sales, FAST steering committee member and vice chairman of the Internet Advertising Bureau. Glassberg called the lack of standardized Web media-planning tools "one of the biggest problems in online advertising".
