Hi Ausdauer,

I am sad to say that despite owning a Rio, I don't know what kind of expansion FLASH it uses. I am only using the 32MB internal FLASH. The local electronics store didn't have any Rio expansion FLASH in stock. This is what's said on the box about its FLASH card.

"FLASH memory cards ae a standard, removable memory format used not only by Rio, but digital cameras and other portable electronic devices. Flash memory cards allow Rio's base memory to be upgraded to store and play more audio content."

And there is even less information about the FLASH in its manual. I have sent an Email asking Diamond about its FLASH standard. They have yet to respond. Since it's new year, I don't expect an answer immediately. I will call them next Monday to find out.

Happy new year,

Khan
