How is this for predicting: THE FUTURIST, a magazine of forecasts, trends, and ideas about the future, forecast the top 10 technologies with the greatest potential for business profits over the next ten years are: 1) Genetic mapping; 2) Super materials; 3)High-density energy sources; 4) Digital high-definition television; 5)Miniaturization technologies; 6) Smart mfg'g; 7) Anti-aging products and services; 8) Medical treatments; 9) Hybrid-fuel vehicles; and 10) Edutainment. Item number three and nine represent two out of the top ten list for ECD. Not too shabby. It remains to be seen. We could also receive some benefits from item numbers two and four, if you take into account the many different applications of ECD's amorphous materials, as it would relate to new materials and our potential new memory technology for high definition TV. I'm surprised at no reference being made to computers, internet, or telecommunications. Each of us have our own opinions on this subject. What do you think? Regards.
