I would be very interested in seeing Qualcomm's next generation phones and their specs.>> For this I bet you are going to hear something from the Q in Feb during CTIA conference show. Given their track of putting out new products in both asic and phone the likely hood are high. I would not be surprise that their next generation phone will address the standby time issue in a big way.
