Hi Jim and all.Happy New year to all.The US$ gets hammered even more this coming year.What does anyone think where all this new money can flow to?Print more money and issue more credit and the prices HAVE to go up!Then you destroy values by shooting missiles at Saddam (1billion), all the the various disasters around the world,all the worthless projects done and build which do not contribute or to the wants of mankind and you will get the money-credit bubble we have right now. The tech stocks are overblown right now and will collapse-many of them anyway-then it's another commodity, then another currency and then something else.Does anyone out there remember the sugar shortage,the antifreeze hoarding,the silver exitement,the oil bubble in the late 70 and shortage and on and on.What will the 'invisible powers' jump on next?have seen a lot in my live time.Ask the Russians or the people in the Balkans or the Latinos or the Asians if they had their 'money'(speak values) in gold in the last 30 years, they would be much more wealthy than they are now.To preserve your earnings and your values put it into something which is wanted in 10 years or 20 years or many more years and is controlled by you and is and cannot deteriorate or be destroyed by time,nature or ill willed people.Precious metals and land come to mind first hand.Then collectibels come to mind.I was at an antic auctions the other day and it amazed me what people think has value.But, that was paper they handed over for what I was thinking was junk. As for me. I like penny stocks. Made some good money on some and lost a little on others.Right now its gold and platinum/palladium and if I can double my money every 3 years I am happy and have fun to boot. For all these discussions here, I find them entertaining and take them as opinions only.I would not give a penny for anything what's said here other then to show me where all the paths could lead.Who is right and who is not? I think everyone is entitled to his opinion and to air it.Just don't shove it down my throat.Happy New Year to all of you and may the desires of your wishes be fulfilled.
