Re: Kevin on Anandtech k6-3 review

It is discouraging. You've basically got some college kid running benchmarks between history and biology exams and influencing a lot of people. As with the recent k7 #'s....you really don't know how or what these "reviewers" have got ahold of... Although we all are desperate for information on the new chips...you have to wonder about the testing conditions and the circumstances under which the chips were obtained.

Anand had a problem with the k6-2 400 review as well, didn't he?

<I sent him a message but the kid never responded.>

I forgot to tell you this, Kevin. He hardly does respond. I've sent him a few messages on occasion and I've never received a reply from him. Perhaps the guy is too busy to respond to the hundreds of e-mails he gets a week. After all, if he wants to get into MIT or wherever, he's got to spend most of his time studying.
