I bought a load for my fund on Aug 28 at 54 5/8. Next day it dropped to 49 3/4, a nasty hit for a large company. I didn't blink an eye, because I had the conviction that T would be the greatest investment of all time. T has the world vision of ubiquitous video telephony with world wide corporate data communications too. T is the most dynamic potential investment ever to appear in its risk class realm of big companies. I have tried to get others to buy it, but public and institutional vision is rare. T is uniquely positioned to pull this off and their latest deals with BT and the purchase of IBM's international data network makes T a have to own issue. Owning 40% of ATHM can't hurt them too much too.

re: I can't figure out why T trades at PE of 21. Any takers on that one?

Yep that an a div. too. The reason is, T has disappointed for so long plus the over hang of competition from established long distance carriers and new upstarts, to the REBOCs desire to enter into the long distance market. That said, I have been telling anyone, who is conservative investor, that T would be a good buy. IMHO. T is acting down right entrepreneurial of lately also.
