I think this is pertinent...

ragingbull.com

If you choose to negate the fundamentals of this company and simply hang all your hopes on a date, why wait? Get out now and leave more for us! Late afternoon is a good time for an announcement, but I have always said that I don't know a thing about this stuff...Enjoy.

Happy New Year to all, including the Shorts! ;-)

THis is a post I made on the YHOO board.

Everyone who is on the long side of this stock, whether for a day or two
or alot longer, is here because IFLY is opening up their new website.
This website will be a state of the art design that will allow IFLY to
carve out its own unique niche in the online travel industry. This
should bring attention and price appreciation to the stock.
I was in IFLY earlier this year when I thought the site was imminent.
The fact was that IFLY just announced the intention to build the site.
There was a nice pop but it died off because, well they needed time to
build it. I sold my IFLY then with the intention to get back in when the
site was ready to roll.
I am now convinced that the site will be out very very soon. I was told
today by the woman I talked to at 813-908-0404, that I could make reservations later today. That would be great. But
am I going to sell if the PR doesnt come out by 4:00. No way! It is
imminent now, there seems no doubt about that. I may be wrong about the
reaction to the website and maybe it wont do anything for the stock. I
dont think that will be the case but it is certainly possible. I have
placed my money on the fact that it will have an impact and that is all
we really should be discussing now. The web site will happen. The
question is how will it impact the stock. I think favorably and I
imagine the others here do also (unless you are short). So today,
Monday, whatever. It is happening.

In light of the current postings I have been reading hear and on other threads I would like to just add this:

Your investment strategy deals with the overall guidelines you set up in an attempt to ensure success in meeting your financial goals. Tactics are used to implement a strategy. You must have a clearly defined objective and a specific time horizon.

You need to double-check everything. If you are truly an individual investor conducting your own research and placing trades yourself, you can limit yourself to only what you need to know. When you take care of your own investments, you choose what to monitor. Maybe you want to know every uptick and downtick of your stocks and every bit of news affecting them. But it might be that you just want the big picture by checking prices once a month, perusing top stories and keeping an eye on a few related stocks in the same industry. The point is that it should be up to you not anyone else. Keep the background noise low.

Nobody ever knows what the market will do.

Do your research, do it well, and disregard the opinions of others until they have earned your trust.

Trust yourself.

I think it was Napoleon who said, Good intelligence is nine-tenths of any battle.
