Wish I'd sold at 20+ to buy back more on this dip. The article at stockdetective is best taken with with a grain of salt IMHO.
Seagate and VocalTec were on there earlier this year, too (as just two examples of unfairly bashed companies). Doubt if what's said on that website would be taken too seriously by Wall Street.
Steve Harmon has much more credibility than stockdetective.
Having been through a big loss this year on the kind of thing some have said is going on at MLRE -Yea, you're talking to one of the bigtime walking wounded of zap! (email me for a free autograph)-
(actually, the zap loss served me well, as it spurred me to learn fast to trade the internet OTC's and microNasdaq's which I had never done before, frantic to cover the loss with short-term trades, and in 3 months that loss has been more than covered by tech micros!)
Anyway, (back to MLRE) as far as a portal hype that won't materialize, Been There, Done That. As a veteran of the wringer of the zap debacle, I can tell you that Millionaire.com is Light Years beyond the telltale signs of a shell I should have wondered about at zap time - 1) Millionaire.com is beautifully designed by obvious publishing professionals 2) The website works perfectly - doesn't freeze your browser, etc. 3) All details are presented professionally for potential advertisers/links/auctions to get in the February issue
4)MLRE's reported more of it's financial details than most OTC stocks.
Not reporting at all is their right as an OTC stock. Telling lies is fraud. 5)MLRE is not a start-up from scratch; they have a viable magazine with income, not income from sausage and fish 6)In-house publishing pros and artists already on board, magazine on stands, not
just a promise to import contractors with expertise. 7)IMHO their 2.50 issue of stock to raise money to grow .com division makes more sense for Co. & shareholders than a big load of debt from a loan would, as far as faster reporting of higher earnings, which could make the stock fly even higher once the .com site is making sales.
Well, folks, as I've admitted my past big mistake, please realize this is only my interpretation of what I see as facts. If I'm wrong this time, and anything is possible, then fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me, is all I can say. Whatever way it goes, I'm going to try those pears in walnut phylo with an Irish coffee for lunch on a big day for MLRE in about a month, watching it online.
Care to join me?
Good luck & happy new year to all "Millionaire" investors & wannabes,
Whichever way you're betting the drama will unfold,
Joana
