Robert, Maybe someone else will respond and explain to us what 'spreading the put options' means. Interesting to listen periodically today to the bid/ask and volume on the Apple Jan 40's (AAQAH). The fair bid price should be about 2 3/8 to 2 1/2. Yet, it is getting bid up on fairly high volume today, recently to 2 5/8. That is actually a little scary, because it means the speculative froth is beginning but without much action in the stock price. Sam
