Let's face it, the vast majority of the ".com" stocks are trading on zero fundamentals and rather 100% investor sentiment and unwarranted hype. It's a game of musical chairs and everyone hopes they get out before all of them are gone. Rational thinking and due diligence have been thrown out the window the past few months. It's been a lottery type atmosphere where an unknown, struggling penny stock can vault 1800% in two days simply with the mention of opening an online site to sell women's apparel. Does this "news" warrant a $1 stock to be trading at $18 the next day? Rational thinking obviously says "no way!" Anybody can open a store online and sell pencils if it wanted to, but that shouldn't cause a feeding frenzy, should it? On top of that, how does one get consumers to the site in droves? Mainly through spending huge $$ advertising, something most of these companies aren't being questioned about.

When I started researching MLRE last month, I found that I could find no means to research them, other than through their pr releases, a mock website and these stock boards. There simply is no way to determine whether this company is legit or not and this is the case with many of the recent high-flyers. There is also quite a glut of 'net auction sites already being operated. It will be interesting to see who's left standing when the smoke clears.
