Dell's warranty unmatched admits Gateway.(Ouch,ouch....)

Sig:
First of all a very prosperous and happy new year to you.

Now here is little something I picked up on warranty.
=================================================

.....'I was told Gateway offered a great three-year warranty. During the first year, a Gateway technician would come to my home to fix any problems. During the remainder of the warranty period, she said, the PC had to be brought into the store's service center, but there would be no charge for the parts and labor. She also pointed to the 24-hour toll-free number and on-site training center as extra benefits provided by Gateway. If the associate had stopped there, she would have done a decent job, but she offered one more point: "That's why we're better. We have service that no one else can offer, except Dell," she said.

Ouch! While this was an honest comment, mentioning that your primary competitor can match your store's best sales point is not a good idea...
