off topic I grew up and attended college just over the border from Vancouver.. I went back at Thankgiving for the first time in 20 years. WOW! I was in awe...talk about a rocket ship ready to take off...real civilization unknown to Silicon Valley, the BEST shopping malls in the world, the skyscrapers waiting to be filled...the scenery...lots of concern and visible oversight about criminal activity...I came away thinking how severely undervalued Vancouver is as a market and place to do business. Prices on everything were so much cheaper than the US. If only Canada would stop taxing everyone to death. And I noticed that RY and TD didn't participate in the bank/broker speculative bubble. Makes me wonder...a lot....
