>> How would BII get a cash hit from two third party trades ? Could the option holders be selling short in this range as they have a set option price in JAN. at very low levels with which to cover ?<<

I have been expecting to see some large crosses in the New Year. I realize that none of the November 30th fund buyers of the last issue would be able to sell that particular stock until it becomes free trading sometime in January. There has been a large amount of scaling going on with the funds, so it is possible that an existing free trading position be sold, only to be replaced by restricted shares. They could also use the cash from a cross to take down warrants next year. The cash would not go to the company until this convoluted transaction has taken place. This way , their (fund) books (window dressing?) look good with an immediate profit for year end.

It could be the option holders selling, as you say. There has been enough volume to have done this hundreds of times in the last 6 weeks.
