"Please, He was only elected on a fluke. He played Perot like a violin. He knew that if he could sucker him into the race he would split the Republican Vote." LOL...I don't think Perot needed to be "suckered"...Perot didn't want Bush to get a 2nd term...Them oil boys! "Your going to have to accept that one of these days, Clintonese is not a real language." There's the "spirit" of the law, and then there's the "letter" of the law. Right now we have a cultural conflict regarding the basic American right to privacy. The issue cannot be seen in BLACK vs. WHITE terms...it's quite GREY. "If you allow him to interpret things into nothing more than non-sense, then the entire legal system is going to crumble. If we allow the 105th congress and the Senate to violate the Constitution...we are no longer who we want to think we are. Being evasive regarding a personal, consensual sexual experience IS not grounds for removal from office. If there was any crime committed, it was victimless... "Which do you hold more precious, you being right, or doing the right thing?" I see them as one in the same...I would ask the Persecution Squad in the Senate and Congress that same question. They aren't invested in "doing the right thing"...they want Clintons head on a plate for newt and it's bad for the Country. They did the wrong thing...the new Congress should have voted the issue. "The man lied plain and simple. In a sworn deposition, regardless of whether it is video or live, it doesn't make it less of a lie." That's your opinion and you're entitled to share it. Clinton should never have been questioned about a consensual situation.
