Funny, I heard reports about some British soothsayer predicting that by the end of 1999, Monica Lewinsky will be seen for the real villain that she is in this sordid affair. I thought that nobody can be more despicable than Linda Tripp, but who knows??!! :-)

This whole thing reads like very poorly executed soap opera dialogue...Monica saved the "evidence" because that was her prime directive...Tripp got used by the GOP/Lucianne to make the tapes...Poor-Linder may have been the ONLY ONE who actually did not know what was really going on...She's, "just like" all of us...the electorate. Not really, Linder...but we do feel your pain! I think the GOP truly believes that the average American is a mushroom...or just plain vacant. By painting Monica as the "scorned lover", that theory can attempt to fly...Monica wasn't vindictive...she was gathering the evidence for the Impeachment Squad. The Trojan Horse Play...but the wheels are falling off as we speak.
