Christine,
I am not threatened if you believe the theory of evolution. I think I've explained quite a bit already but you are asking me to repeat myself again. You said:

<<Incidentally, walking erect in itself does not make a species more human, and so whatever you are saying about those South American apes would seem to be irrelevant. It also involves the increasing use of tools, the development of larger brains, indications of forming more and more complex societies, general compassion and understanding of
mortality, like burying your dead with flowers and taking care of older members of the group who are not able to survive on their own. If you take all of these developmental factors into account, I believe there is very strong evidence for evolution. >>

What shows these things to be developmental? Could they have been there all along? When did they become noticed by anthropologists. So much of what is put forth by anthropologists are their own erroneous assumptions, why listen. There is no proof. It is not an exact science, it's more like a modern form of mythology. They are writing the myths in our lifetime. They know far less than they claim, but all that hype keeps the grant money coming. And it is a fact that evolution had to be invented to alleviate the torment of the non-believing in society. A intellectual refuge from God.
