Dave,

I'm a trader short term and an investor long term as I don't go looking for trading opportunities with likes of INKT - stick to YHOO because I think of it as a long term investment. Will I hold and watch it tank 50% ? No. I'd get out at 30% and buy back. Lets just say I'm not good at enduring pain...!!! Maybe my gains are not as much as a buy and hold investor - but my stress is nil. Opportunity cost of holding is high for me.

<<<Greed, greed all over the place.>>>

I'm interested in your comment. Why is making money synonomous to being greedy ? If MSFT or DELL went up by 100 points would'nt you hold if the trend was upwards ? Most YHOO longs feel the same about the stock.

My point about investors being upset if Yahoo is not in their portfolio. Check out this post:

Here's some comment:
>>I own 2 growth funds and I would sell immediately if I found out they did not have YHOO.<<

Plenty of mutual funds are aware of this mentality. They'll have Yahoo in their portfolio on 12/31/98. 1/4/99??? I don't know.
