People "knew" MALL was going to spin off UBID and the stock was in the low 20s. (MALL was) I bought in the mid 20s. The stock went to 60s... and you could of "known" it at any price in between. Not everyone sits on the computer every day to "know" about "everything". If your a daytrader you probably first heard about this stock today or in the past week. If your a conseravtive investor you probably never heard of DBCC.... Not everyone has access to all the same channels... some people who read Business Week never signed on Yahoo Finance once in their lives. etc. The trick is to take advantage of the ineffeciencies in information. good luck on your short... I am on your side in the fact I think at some point it will pull back to 16...even if its very briefly. But im looking out to a week from now when I see it a lot closer to 26 then 16. I just dont like when you or the other short here spread information like "wow the IPO COULD GET DELAYED!!! THEN WHAT?? THE PRICE WILL GO DOWN!!" Well thanks for telling us all the possibilities. If a meteor hits earth I think DBCC might go down too. But hey those are the risks Mark
