Yes, maybe. And maybe AOL can pass the price
increase to its customers. I really don't know and can't
predict offhand. Returning to Buffettology, the
uncertainties of leadership in communications access
(note that I bundled 'Net, TV and phone into
one area) and the possible pricing issues
(who has to pay whom, how much, who benefits and what are
the earnings margins) must be assessed
before investing in this area. It's kind of useless
exercise now with all major players at high
valuations. Unless you want to follow "Graham and
Doddsville's" portfolio and buy T. ;-)

In some sense, LU or CSCO may have been the simplest plays
in this area. But *please* don't start jumping up and down
if you own them. We know we have geniuses on this
board. :-))))
