Glenn my 2 cents on closing action.....

Floor traders were looking for an order imbalance surge in AOL due to S&P listing. When that didn't happen, the leaders fell out of bed. Yahoo dove 10 pts. in seconds! When AOL leveled, I tried to unbox the thing at 329 then 328 just missed. Next minute it was 325! Two minutes later $321! Yikes!

I saw a couple listing of the "last ten" trades that showed a huge gap. Price in last ten 327 327 1/4 327 1/2 324 327. Market orders are like declaring open season on investors!

Ebay is developing an international flare, FYI, but that too will level off. Congratulations on the EBay short, boxing it will let you sleep a little better this weekend.

>>Your thoughts??

Was out of the house for the market close. I don't take anything seriously from today's trading; there are just too many exogenious factors.

I think this week's trading has been anticpation of what might happen next week. Hot money and a lot of weak holders sold this week into thin markets, especially at the close today.

A selloff is so widely-anticipated for next week that I bet it won't happen. We got it this week.

Would you gentlemen be kind enough to explain me how the "boxing technique" works?
I have no idea what you're talking about.

Thanks

Glen>> William, Your thoughts??<<
I'm not William, but I think this is a sell stock. Investors over a period of time can't relate to auctioneering. Leave that to Sotheby's. You'll love their margins.
Next year Ebay will be a $20 stock.
You could almost trust me on that.
