Sean, Thanks for the link to Anandtech. I had thought this technology was still in the drawing board stages. Now I see it's actually in comercial production (albeit with weak critical review). Note, though, that Anand doesn't completely close the book on it and offers that it might have a better future. I found it interesting that he says KryoTech and AMD are working closely together. I guess AMD is looking out for any possible advantage they can gain over Intel. I'm with you, though--after reading about the Rube Goldbergs involved it all seems pretty far-fetched. wily
