Happy New Year, Jan, and all the rest...

I suppose I would be forced to agree with you on the "mine's bigger than yours" scenario, though it makes me wanna puke. Other than my stint in the air farce, I've never worked for a company with more than 70 people and for the last 15 yrs its been a company w/ less than 10 emps. I have never sought a raise with the justification that she/he is making blah-blah-blah, and it irks me when I hear that as justification. Right now, I have the slowest machine in the office with a receptionist and office manager running 2xx-3xx Mhz cpus and I usually have 5-6 processes going on at the same time with as many or more windows open. When I start boggin' down that's my justification for a faster/bigger machine. BTW, I know my pc is Y2KOK and the only software that isn't is our netware (4.10 and ain't that a beach!!).

You guys gotta layoff Frank. He's not saying anything about it, but during his incarceration (and don't let him lead you to think it was due to contempt) he was subjected savage physical and mental torture. I'm a little hazy on all the details, but it had to do with high tech, international espionage. The only reason he's out is because the Quebec nationalists liberated him from the dungeon of a restored boys school in Toronto that's now being used to house illegal immigrants who are being sweat-shopped to program drivers for inadequate north-of-the-border graphics chips.

BTW, Frank, how are the guys at the local tavern? Heard anything from them lately? :-)
