Full of baloney! But let me answer just one of them...

>>During the Congressional impeachment hearings, other citizens who lied about sex and were convicted of perjury were brought forth. Why is it that Clinton, who should be setting the highest example of legal and ethical conduct, is somehow above all this?

Yeah, just when we thought that things couldn't get any sillier! Were those other citizens impeached from any elected office? Of course not! Bill Clinton can STILL be tried in court, and can STILL get the same punishment that the other citizens got -- AFTER he leaves office. So cut all that "above the law, below the law" crap, will ya?!

What Henry Hyde and other right-wing nuts have done (and whom you support) by this sort of "Oprah-ization" of the Congress is to paralyze the various bodies of the government in order to extract political revenge. Pretty darn cheap behavior, by any standards...

'Nuff said! Happy New Year! And may your Republicans find some kind of relief, now that they realize that they have inadvertently applied Tabasco sauce to their own rear ends :-)

Christine,

Sorry to break up the enlightening conversation about Bill...

I recently examined my own motives and realized that the only reason I don't want him impeached is that if he is we will have to talk about the whole thing again. I think they should tell him that he will stand trial for harassment the day after his term ends, with a probable 20-year sentence - unless he finishes his term with the Dow above 14000 and unemployment below 4%.
