Unfortunately I agree with you. "Everybody expects a strong January rally". Makes me leery. Market is perverse and does the opposite of what people expect. All Bob Pisani on CNBC talked about is the MM's cash and how it will come flooding into the market in the month of January. Seems to me this did not occur in Jan. of 1998 wouldn't be surprised to see the same for Jan. 1999. He was also looking for new highs on the DJIA to close out 1998 and you see what we got. I get cynical when it seems too cut and dried to make "easy" money in the market because of a liquidity driven Jan. I hope they are all right. I would love to go along for the ride, but am skeptical. JMHO
