My sister works about one mile to the south of where the blast took place. Very fortunate in this case because the force of the blast was to the north.

She never mentioned anything to me about city wide drills being conducted and I don't recall that either. At the time, I was working about 8 miles north of where the blast took place. I can't even begin to describe it.

Plain and simple, everyone tries to blame it on the FBI/CIA/Terrorists, but it was McVeigh that was behind this. He was actually after one of the ATF agents offices who was behind the Waco incident (Bob Ricks), who was scheduled to be in town that day. ATF had offices on the 2nd floor of that building.
