Spots & Celeron o'cers

I admit I'm sensitive to noise.
Me too.... when I get the permanent monitor I'm go move this case farther away and see if that helps. Now the machine is 3'' away.

the overclocked 300A runs cool as a cuke ......the gear in your case amounts to mouse nuts for heat

I checked out Motherboard Monitor and its not compatible with the Aopen board. But the Aopen utility cd-rom has their own Hardware Monitor program which I installed. It shows the Celeron @ 450mhz 2.05v running at 77 deg F.

It shows the cpu heatsink fan as not running at all. I'm wondering if the heatsink fan kicks in at higher temps or whether there is some problem with this monitor app getting a reading. The latter seems more likely given the low cpu temp.

I'll have to crack the case again to verify that the heatsink fan is running or not.
