AT: SH**!!! ('Scuse the language again!!!) I don't have a recording of my sell order, but I remember being very confused about what they meant by NET to me and I did said something to the effect of "if it hits 60.5, sell it!" They kept throwing the "net" line...three times in fact! Finally I said yes and they went on...

I have no clue how I'm going to deal with it, or whether I should contest this one, since I don't have any proof on my sell order. And you're right, they were very impatient with me, which added to the stress of the sell order. They also screw me over royally when I ask to buy INTC at 80 and I got in at 85-1/4!!!

But I have a feeling I don't have much of a case, since I didn't know 'til now what they mean by "net to you" or "stop loss." I'm not sure what course I can take other than to call them up, much less who I can ask for. (I was dealing with Diane Dreas' office.)

I want to just take my loss and move on, but a part of me wants to fight this one out just out of principal of someone who's been taken because I didn't understand what I was getting into. I also have plans to transfer all my money out of Alex Brown and put it in my money market account at Wells. I don't use much of their full service stuff anyway. There is no point in my letting them deal with my money this way.

Cheers,
Joanna
