Soros, something very strange that has bothered me. Immediately after the "Gulf WAr"...yeah, a really decisive victory indeed...the Phoenix Republic carried a small blurb on the front page which said that Sadaam had met with the crazy faction of the USSR still in tact, whatever they were then, whatever they are now, it is all so blurred and unreal I frankly no longer care what they're doing as it is all spin, period. But he was allowed to meet with the craziest faction of the Soviet Republic at that time and draw up these mutual protection agreements. Mainly economic wording, but purely militaristic of course. Why am I the only human on earth with any recollection of this article. Did I actually dream I read it?
