What aboutINTC? COMS?

What is your take on the so called Internet stocks such as Amazon, Yahoo and Egghead?

DSL TO TAKE OFF, DEMAND FOR BROADBAND AND BANDWIDTH EXPLODES. BENEFICIARIES ARE

BR, I tend to agree that bandwidth demands will increase, although I'm not sure about an explosion. But why do you think DSL (maybe include cable here) will take off. My opinion is that there is still a price problem here that will keep the mass market away.

My area is one of the few with access to both DSL and cable (two-way). Both are priced at $50-60/month, and neither is taking off yet.

Price is a big barrier. With basic 56K access running $18-22/month, I feel until we see broadband price in the $25-30 range, it will never get mass market acceptance.

Geeks like me are the only ones who seem to care. 8^)
