One of my picks for 1999: SOC, had a terrific day today, beaten down about 90% or so during 1998 to 5 1/2 yesterday morning, rose during the day to as high as 7 1/8 and closed at 7 for about a 30% gain. I think there are more good days ahead for this company...I think fund managers will start buying positions in the new year now that they have closed out there losses for 1998...I am hoping for $20/share this year, if it grows steadily all year long I'll continue to hold, if it spike up above $15, I'll probably sell and buy back on any pull back. Other picks for this year: SYMC, should see high $20's in Q1, CD looking for high $20's also, BAANF and MANU hoping for a pop in Jan. XYLN takeover rumours? PAIR, hoping it finally has a good year.
