*OT* Don. We (my wife and 2 children) are in Knoxville and attend the Halls Congregation (first quick build in Knoxville 11 years ago, 140 pubs or so, 7 pioneers). I have been associated with the truth all of my life (45 years) although I did not dedicate until 1976. My wife's experience is interesting. She was raised Methodist, but her maternal great grandparents and grandparents were JWs (great grandmother was one of the anointed). Her mother however did not take to the truth and my wife did not know much about JWs until we were married. We studied and were baptized together. We know Tim and Bobbie Cole in the Atlanta area. I guess they are in a congregation north of Atlanta up I-85. They visit friends here from time to time (Tim is from Knoxville). I just recently attended a Planned Giving seminar that the brothers conducted in Atlanta. You are probably aware of that marvelous program (you weren't at the seminar, were you?) I have noticed that the other contributors to this thread respect you and listen to the advice you give. That in itself is a witness. This is certainly one of the more novel forms of alternative witnessing, but as the time grows short, we need to reach people with whatever means we can. I have been investing for 20 years, but just started trading about 6 months ago. A lot of difference in the two. I have learned a lot by reading the posts on this thread. It is one of the more consistent and intellectual of any of the boards I visit (although CMGI and CMGIOT at Raging Bull are worth reading). Now that I have broken silence, I will probably post although it will be primarily to learn from these savvy investors. I am getting ready to retire from TVA and will be trading full time with my son for as long as we can make a living at it. I am sure I will learn from you as well. If you ever get up this way, let me know. We have a big house and love to have the friends stay with us. Isn't it wonderful to belong to an organization where you can make an invitation like that after meeting a person for the first time? I think I am going to bed for a few hours, but I hope to talk with you tomorrow (today) or in the next few days. What do you think the market will do Monday and next week?
