John,
That sounds pretty much like what I want to do. Use QP2 to download data and scan ALL stocks and then pick candidates to move to my MS directories (usually by industry). I think I will order QP2 and give it a go. I will keep my Trend Data download also until I am sure QP2 does what I need.

I am very impressed with both the QP2 and MS groups here on SI and sincerely appreciate your excellent and detailed responses. Thank you.

BTW, I also signed up for the QP list at OneList. I get the digest form, but I do not think I can view linked threads via that form. Is that true? Should I go to the individual topics mode to get linked lists?

Thanks again,

John Lee

John,
Sorry for 2 posts but I forgot to ask - how much space does QP require for all the stocks?

John, I'm curious -- On your stochastics (10,2,3), do you want it to be still heading down, or do you want it to have turned up, and if turned up, how high do you want it to be before seriously considering it (based on this one TA factor)?

And, if you have the energy, what basically does the ZigZag tell you in your tests that seems to be so accurate?

Thanks
