CNBC attempting y2k explanation now!

ALL: I'm beginning to wonder, like the problem itself, isn't the ceiling for how high TAVA may go just as hard to tell? It seems to me more and more that a good deal/most? of TAVA's y2k growth may well occur AFTER 1/2000 due to the level of denial still out there in small towns, countries, thinking?

Dear Frank and all: Just finished listening to the Y2K segment from 9:00-10:00am on CNBC. Program was Generic in nature as they did not mention any specific companies. So if anyone listening never heard of TAVA then they still never have. Did make some interesting comments about imbedded systems. One guest commented that with the large number of imbedded systems and the small percentage of potential failures most companies opting for a "Fail and Fix" strategy. Then the other guest from Gardner indicated that there is a type of imbedded system (forgot what he called it) that effects processing, utility, and fuel line industries that has a much higher fail rate (something like 30-35%). Guess what, those industries mentioned I recognized as TAVA type clients. A good sign for additional work. Both guests indicated problem will go into 2001 so I guess that means TAVA can count on this business lasting at least until the end of their NEXT fiscal year ending 6/30/2000. So that knocks existing analysts estimates in the ear. All in all, great program for people uninformed but for us TAVAITES I personally didnt feel as I learned anything I didnt already know. JDN
