Happy New Year, Mr Metals. If the trajectory of that asteroid places on a path toward earth, I am sure that some clever OTC company will develop a way to intercept it, mine it and sell the fabulous new gems for a projected revenue of 6 trillion dollars in the first year. . . and they sell now for just .008 per share.

When is the asteroid projected to be vicinity of the earth? Asteroid more than big enough to end most all life on earth. 350M miles not very far away at all.

Now wouldn't that be something? We have a planetwide meltdown due to Y2K followed by impact from large asteroid....
