sam, """You'll hit the jackpot once AOL is added to the DOW! """ Don't expect AOL in the DOW any time soon. All the DOW stocks pay a dividend, it's not a requirement but all the DOW stocks do. Woolworth's (Z) now Venitor (Z) suspended their dividend and they were replaced in the 30. When companies start paying a dividend it's a sign that management doesn't know what else to do with the money.
