Hi, Tom and all the VLSI Gang:

I hope you all had a fine New Year celebration. Mine was marred by SI Admin
Bob terminating my account due to a private argument he and I were having in
Private Mail. I've been desolate, but you know me: I'm exploring legal action
especially as it relates to the Freedom of Information Act. I thought Private
Mail was exempt from the TOS, at least that's what they told me before this
occurred! Well, if any of you want to express your feelings about this
termination of my account, feel free to write webmistress@techstocks.com. Let
me know if you have any leads for me to pursue legally, and remember, I can't
access your email addresses any more, so you need to send them to me if you
want to keep in touch. I can't have X posting notes for me forever.

On to VLSI. My little heart started beating when I saw a slight recovery at
the end of the year. Remember, I still have those puts outstanding, (the puts
I wrote for 15 when I thought it would never go that low), and they come due
in just two trading weeks now. Ouch. I'd sure like to see us at 15 by then.
Anyone have any hope? Or not. Let me know what you all think. I can read the
boards through the Internet, so I can keep up with the threads, but can only
communicate with all of you through email. I'm at ljk@aol.com.

Linda

Hi Tom,

First the important stuff - SF won (what a GAME!) so we are now officially even in our wager. Glad it was double or nothing, because it's easy to calculate nothing versus twice whatever it was we were betting...

As to VLSI, I agree there will be a wall of resistance to climb. So I'm less likely to be buying calls, and will hold my substantial (once upon a time) position. Long term I'd love to see a merger, but I think the best we can hope for will be some partnering agreements.

Happy Y2K-1,
Jim
