Hi everyone, thanks for your responses. I appreciate the responses and the new insights about after hours trading. Even after trading stocks for a few years now, you try to learn more every year (and hey I already learned a lesson for 99!)

I appreciate the frankness and it sounds like , as one person put it, there is no free lunch, so I guess Im just going to have to make enough money in normal trading in 99 so i can quit work & trade full time by 2000 *grin*

I guess for now I will stick with the lower commisions at Investrade, since my portfolio isnt huge yet. From the reviews I've read sounds like MB is good and well liked for those who trade during the day using Level 2 and such. So until then I'll wait :)

Good luck in the next year!

Mark
