The point is that the current lack of a methanol and eventually hydrogen supply infrastructure in not the huge issue that Sid twists it into because: 1) gas tanks and pumps need occasional replacement 2) replacing a gas pump with a methanol pump can be done at an opportune time at about the same cost 3) some gas stations would rather close than pay the cost of any new pump but big oil has the capital and has already expressed interest 4) in some parts of the country you can't now buy gas - people are not going to junk their cars and get horses - they will find a way to purchase the fuel of their choice.
