Mark, you would be wise to do as Alan suggested, and not look to man for divine guidance in this area, and I have taken the time, in a previous post to give you scriptures and books of the Bible that will put you on the path to finding your answer. You are wasting your time trying to figure it out on your own. And you are cheating God of understanding Him through His most Holy word. There is no rehab. without repentence. Mark; Even some new agers like me have been able to achieve that:-) The following is some theology by New Agers I do not know if you agree with it but the bottom line is that New Age theology claims the Bible is made up of Myths and it's total aim what I believe is to discredit Gods word. Also the Jews cherish the Torah as Gods word and they hold it as a Holy Document. New Age Theology wishes to discredit it as Gods word and to be honest Mark NOBODY can claim such. Your argument will be the reverse applies NOBODY can claim the Bible is Gods word. The bottom line for myself is simply this....... Below is some thoughts from a New Ager and after reading a few points that he makes he refers to certain books to read after closing........ Like other nations in the ancient world, Israel expressed its relationship with God through sacrifice and ritual, using sacred enclosures, and depending upon the mediation of priests. In other words, it had a cult. The cult had a very important religious and social function. It distinguished between the areas of the sacred and the profane. It also integrated the individual within the community of God's people, and reminded the community of the significance of God for their ongoing life. I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church. All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian, or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit. EVERY national church or religion has established itself by pretending some special mission from God, communicated to certain individuals. The Jews have their Moses; the Christians their Jesus Christ, their apostles and saints; and the Turks their Mahomet; as if the way to God was not open to every man alike. Each of those churches shows certain books, which they call revelation, or the Word of God. The Jews say that their Word of God was given by God to Moses face to face; the Christians say, that their Word of God came by divine inspiration; and the Turks say, that their Word of God (the Koran) was brought by an angel from heaven. Each of those churches accuses the other of unbelief; and, for my own part, I disbelieve them all. The Christian mythologists tell us that Christ died for the sins of the world, and that he came on Purpose to die. Would it not then have been the same if he had died of a fever or of the small pox, of old age, or of anything else? THE WORD OF GOD IS THE CREATION WE BEHOLD: And it is in this word, which no human invention can counterfeit or alter, that God speaketh universally to man. Interesting books for further research are: When Women Were Priests, by Karen Jo Toriesen The Woman With the Alabaster Jar, by Margaret Starbird The Moon Under Her Feet, by Clysta Kinstler Solomon & Sheba, by Barbara black Koltuv, Ph.D. The Hebrew Goddess, by Raphael Patai Their are THOUSANDS of books with regards to Man and his quest for truth....Their is only one Bible....Their is only one Torah..... Has not history changed? New Age has been around since the beginning... was Pharaoh not NEW AGE he worshipped the wind and sun ect.... He deemed himself as a .............. Yes it is good to take in nature but the problem with New Age is they miss the focal point of were all this nature comes from thus creating thousands of books and making excuses for the Bible replacing it with their own THEMSELVES....... That is why I keep telling you to turn away from man and seek God without all the rubbish....... When you do the Bible will hold more meaning since it is a book filled with powerful words and you will find the meaning to be much more relevant to you when your heart seeks the truth. Not all receive the truth when they read it but the focal point is GOD and he knows who is humble and seeking and who is not..... His words will mean nothing to the self righteous. But to the truth seeker it will open up a whole new world and ones life will never be the same once it is attained. Alan

Dear Mark, If that soul resists God and produces violence (I believe violence originates in the spirit) then it will be seperated. God is not punishing necessarily IMO it is more of a seperation of a bad spirit. If a person resists God it is not about Gods pride but about what choices the person makes. He represents truth, everything good and love. Why would anyone resist these thing unless there is a problem in their spirit. Mostly pride in thinking they can understand these things on their own when I believe we would not know anything without the breath of God in our spirits. It is very possible to thin we are doing good when we are actually deceiving ourselves and are harming others. The violent act I experienced had a spiritual level to it as women who are raped also seem to experience a spiritual side to the crime. Nancy Try to get Ken to loosen up a bit at the wedding it is hard for them to hug:-)
