If your copy of Penny Stock News is indeed from 1980, none of those companies that you mentioned could have been on the OTC BB.

According to otcbb.com the OTC BB did not start operations until June 1990!!

The OTC market at that time (in 1980) was an early form of the Nasdaq. The OTC BB was started as an electronic quotation system for penny stocks that had traded in the Pink Sheets.
