Pal, <The 400 MHz K6-2 prices are in a FREEFALL.>
If they yield at 1% and do not exist in quantity,
why you are so concerned about the price?

" Compaq Deskpro EP 400 Mhz celeron"

Note that celeron 400 mhz is used in Deskpro EP series. This is computer designated for commercial (buisness market) where as compaq sells K6-2 400 mhz for Presario line which is designated for retail market.

I would expect it to cannibalize P-II 400 mhz sales.

regards,

HB

P.S. I also saw IBM aptiva 400 mhz k6-2 in retail stores.

Priest:

<<I highly recommend you buy some Intel stock, Brian - your eyes are "blinkered" and you are missing out on some REAL OPPORTUNITY for FINANCIAL SUCCESS !>>

How about a bet? I say by end of 1999 AMD stock will appreciate more in % than Intel.
