I concur with you Cleo.

Although SHRP did have a run up with the rest of the I-Net's, it didnt see nearly the gains in the rest of the "sector".

We need to remember that Sharper Image is not just an internet play. We have real concrete "brick and mortar" stores that are making money as well...so the I-net is merely a plus..a major plus.

Last I checked, Comparable store sales showed a very strong nine percent gain, and mail order sales jumped 27 percent... so it's safe to say SHRP will be around even if the internet were to explode tomorrow. I dont know if we can say the same about the rest of the "internet only" retailers.

I do believe December internet sales are up 492%

SHRP's CEO states, "The improvement in gross margin and the increased sales in the all important December month will significantly impact this year's earnings."

We've got same store sales figures beginning to rise qtr over qtr since October, as well as holiday sales rocketing to new highs...this can only "impact" this years earnings substantially.

The stock basically took a plunge from the 17's (where I got in) to 11 7/8. I'm not happy about this, but am still holding for I believe what we have just witnessed was SHRP investors locking in their capital gains for the year. SHRP will fair very well in the next few weeks and up till earnings. We just need some more PR on how well sales are doing.

BTW, does anyone have a firm date for the next earnings report?

Steve
