Internet "Investments"
are an attempt by new electronic traders to get rich quick. Many have
and a bunch have not. I think of it more as a wave of cash trying to churn more cash by catching a ride on a roller coaster with no seat belts. A temptation bred by greed I myself having played TGLO,
GEEK, and SKYM, have found the rewards and punishment swift.
A trip down a street named reality will bring most back to a more stable form of investing in HD, LOW, WMT, WAG, F, CPQ, DELL, COMS, EMC, ORCL, NOVL and you catch my drift. We all know the story about
a proper spread of investments over time and risk and the same holds true to owning individual stocks. One has to try to figure his own risk reward percentages and stick to buying the dips and selling the near tops, ( not an exact science ).
A more conservative approach to investing with my self directed IRA's
has proven to do far better than any wild moves made in a funny money
account. I'm no expert but hit me in the head with a rock and I learn quickly. I still have the funny money account, it just moves around differently now.
