Bill: The SSGI merger with Tamsco is still on. I couldn't find out for sure why it's in extra innings.. but that's where it is. One run still wins it. My purely speculative guess as to the hold-up is that the principals are waiting for 3rd party movement - namely completion of the financing. Still digging for more clues. In the meantime the spread widens as the ask creeps up on virtually no stock activity. Weird. Maybe good weird. When a stock is this depressed I look at ANY change in pattern as a positive sign. Either it takes off or becomes a tax write-off next December. Hopefully, I'll need both. Regards, Wally
